If you live in the UK then you might keep an eye out for this product, it’s a Batman ( The Dark Knight ) Duvet Cover Set & Fleece Throw Blanket. I have not seen this bedding here in the US so it’s totally new to me. Now, I think you can order it online from a company in the UK called Princess Textiles. They also have that “Batman Poncho” Bath Towel that looks like a Bat-Suit when a kid wears it, funny! Here’s a link, just click HERE! Oh, one last thing, for people who live outside the USA ( & even those who live here ) please let me know about brand-new & unusual Bat-Products that exist, thanks!
I recently posted a piece of art showing Batman with NO face & dared people to draw one on. Well, I got a few emailed to me & I gotta say that I’m very proud of all of them. All the artwork is really great! So, here they are. I’m not posting them in any “favorite order”, but I’m posting them in the order that they were received. The 1st two were done by David Morefeld. He did one of Batman but added the “Turtle” because the whole thing reminded him of that famous “Art School Contest”, that’s hilarious! Plus, his Batman Drawing is really great! The 3rd one was created by Kai Kumpulainen. The shadowing & realistic detail is very good. Especially when you consider that he drew it with crappy software. Can you imagine what he could have done with some Adobe Illustrator? He did a really GREAT job! The 4th one is from our friend Timothy San Fllippo. WOW! He went all totally crazy adding color & a funky background …love it! The last one is from our buddy Zdravko Genov, who lives in Bulgaria. He said that all he had was MS Paint. But regardless of this his sketch is still really wonderful. I totally love all of these & wanna thank everyone who participated. I thought it was a fun art experiment & was also surprised by how many people took me up on the challenge….Well Done, Gentlemen.
HA HA HA HA, whew! OK, Lately we have been getting a few more drawings sent in by Bat-Blog Readers for the DRAW BATMAN’S FACE challenge. I gotta say that I’m putting them in the order we got them & this time they’re all sort of crazy. I mean “crazy” in a good way! The 1st one is from our friend Ray. He decided to draw the Adam West version of the Dark Knight. For using the Microsoft DRAW program it turned out pretty great! The next 2 were done by our friend Gary. He said that the one with the scary face is the scene in the movie where Batman gets sprayed with Scarecrow’s Fear Toxin ( it’s awesome! ). The 2nd one is “Batman Dog Face”, ha ha! The last one was drawn by a Good Citizen named Logan & it shows Batman enjoying a 3-D Movie ( IMAX maybe? ). It’s pretty cool! I wanna thank everyone who sent these in. All you guys are totally great Graphic Artists!!
Here’s a very clever BATMAN TATTOO sent in by a Bat-Blog Fan named Zachary. He totally loves BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES & to prove it his tattoo shows 3 frames from the Animation Storyboard for the cartoon’s opening intro. WOW! That’s very original & actually very very cool! He said he got the image from the BATMAN ANIMATED Book by Paul Dini & Chip Kidd. I love that book. It’s a great “behind the scenes” look at the making of the TV Show. It came out a few years ago & is a total fan-favorite among many Batman Collectors ( For more info I posted an Amazon link at the bottom of this post ). I wanna thank Zachary for sending in this wonderful photo & also give him props for getting such a unique bat-tat! Remember Readers, if you know anybody who recently got some ink done then please shoot us a photo. Our e-mail button is always on the top right-hand side of this blog.

YES!! For a few days now I have been dying to get this photo posted! This is a picture sent in by our friend Neal of his cute 3 year old nephew Jack. It looks like we have a Major Batman Fan right here!! I totally love this photo. I mean, if you don’t think it’s the coolest thing you have seen in a very long time then you just have no soul, ha ha! C’mon, This little kid is extremely awesome!! As a side note, I love the fact that he has his trusty Bat-Cycle just to the left of him. You know, just in case he needs to run to the scene of a new crime to catch the Joker, ha ha! ( Thanks to Neal for sharing this wonderful pic. Please tell Jack that he is great! ).
