There’s definitely people out there who do incredible work out there with cosplayers and Stacy Hokett of SGH Photo Art is one of them ! It takes a certain type of person to be able to handle working in different media with Photoshop as well as photography. I call these folks photo-illustrationist because just calling them a photographer is … well, kinda limiting them. Stacy is based in Florida and tends to be found mostly in Southeastern cons from DragonCon to Megacon.
You know, I bet it’s a matter of time before Marvel/DC use a cosplayer and a photographer to be on cover of one of their issues. Just looking at Stacy’s work it is very easy to imagine it as a cover to a comic book.
